Dear Internet,

And so it begins . . . my forays into the blogging world.I’ve long wanted to carve out my own unique corner in cyberspace – to share my work, my passion and a little bit of myself.It is my hope that this blog will serve as a photographic vision board of sorts, a catalog of my writings and photographs, an inspiration to myself {and hopefully to others}, a meaningful documentation of life, an unfolding story, a connection to fellow bloggers and readers, a creative journey into the unknown.So on this 20^th day in January, in the dawn of a new decade, off I go . . .        "Country Star"I took this photograph in Truxton, NY at Reakes Country Goods.  Many farmhouses and barns in the area had stars like this displayed in or near their windows, which I found to be both rustically charming and inspiring.
