Rain

It's cold and rainy in Southern California today.  But the pitter patter of raindrops and the sound of puddles splashing whenever cars go by is comforting to me...probably because rain comes so infrequently in these parts.A view from my window:             On a day like this, there's nothing better than throwing a pot of veggie soup on the stove,                 curling up with a good book,         and listening to Suey's purr.
